This special edition was created on the occasion of the exhibition Sechs auf einen Streich (Six at a Stroke) in the quadrART-Gallery in Dornbirn, curated by Herwig Bitsche and myself. The Bregenz illustrator Sophie Thelen had already completed the illustrations for the story Die Reise nach Brasilien (The Journey to Brazil) by the Russian author Daniil Charms (1905–1942) some time ago. With the kind permission of Jutta Hercher, the translator's widow, we were allowed to publish the work in a small edition. It was printed digitally (HP Indigo 12000) on Gmund papers. All further production steps were done by hand in our studio.
