Atlas der Brutvögel Vorarlbergs
Atlas of the Breeding Birds of Vorarlberg
This book describes the distribution, habitat and population changes of the 157 species of breeding birds documented in Austria’s western-most federal state. It describes threats to species and conservation measures. It also contains results from distribution mapping, such as distribution by altitude and phenology. It provides researchers and amateur ornithologists with an indispensable resource for researching and protecting breeding birds in this region. The design of the cover refers to the infographic on the inside: every species found in the region is represented by a solid circle, every species that has disappeared is represented by an empty circle.
